Toro Taxes franchise advisory council FAC: Carlos Contreras

Carlos Contreras, originally from the Republic of El Salvador, completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of El Salvador and began his career as a teacher of Science and Mathematics for the Ministry of Education. However, his path took a notable turn in 2014 when he joined the Toro Taxes franchise. 

Since then, Carlos has left a mark of success, excelling as a tax professional and successfully expanding his franchise in the thriving enclave of Denver, Colorado. His dedication and skills have made him one of the most successful franchisees in the state. 

In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the industry, Carlos has joined the Toro Taxes Franchise Advisory Council. In this role, he contributes his extensive knowledge and experience to drive the strategic development and ongoing success of the franchise. Additionally, he has obtained certification as a tax instructor from Latinx Training Centers, playing a key role since 2019 by providing training to both tax preparers within the franchise and professionals in the field.
