Blanca was born in Spanish Harlem, "El Barrio," in New York City and raised in the Bronx, NY. She studied Business Management at Borough of Manhattan Community College and has been an IRS AFSP tax professional since 1999.
In addition to her role as a Tax Professional, Blanca has been a Certified Spanish Language interpreter and translator for the National Consortium of State Courts since 2008. Currently, she is a Certified Freelance Interpreter for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Statewide Courts, Federal courts of KY, and USCIS.
Blanca served as the CEO and founder of Oasis Tax and Translation Services in the year 2000, providing individual tax preparation services, interpreting, and legal document translation services.
After being a solo practitioner for 19 years, Blanca joined Toro Taxes franchise in 2019 after meeting Javier Solis, COO of Toro Taxes, at a conference. Joining Toro Taxes allowed her business to offer a more extensive list of services to the Latino community in Kentucky and Ohio. Being part of the Toro Taxes Franchise enabled Blanca to grow and expand her business and duplicate her sales, even during the pandemic.
