Maria Lares, originally from Mexico, embarked on her journey in the tenth grade at High School. An unexpected opportunity led her to work in an immigration law office while also gaining experience in tax preparation. Later, she pursued higher education at Modesto Community College and received specialized training in Real Estate. In 1998, she relocated to Las Vegas, where she not only worked in the Mortgage Lending Division but also took the bold step of founding her own mortgage company.
When the real estate recession struck, Maria cleverly leveraged her tax preparation skills and opened her own Tax and Multi-Services office. Recognizing the inherent synergy between taxes and mortgage loans in the marketing world, she became a pioneer in merging these sectors. In 2009, Maria made a strategic move by joining the Toro Taxes franchise and became the third franchisee in the company's history. Over the years, her commitment and leadership have maintained several Toro Taxes franchises among the nation's top performers, and she has assembled a high-caliber team to support her vision.
Today, María Lares is a distinguished member of Toro Taxes' Franchise Advisory Council, where her expertise continues to drive the franchise's growth and success. She is deeply grateful to her dedicated team and loyal supporters, many of whom have gone on to establish their own franchises. Maria eagerly anticipates the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of both existing and new partners.
