Toro Cares Welcomes The Honorable Mr. Tony Villalobos as New President

Leadership transition marks a bold step forward for community empowerment and service. 

Las Vegas, NV Toro Cares, the non-profit foundation of Toro Taxes, proudly announces the appointment of The Honorable Mr. Tony Villalobos as its new President, effective August 2025. Villalobos succeeds Antonia Andrade, who has served as President since January 2022 and will continue in her role as Chief Operating Officer of Toro Taxes. 

Founded to extend Toro Taxes’ mission beyond the tax preparation, Toro Cares works year-round to provide financial education, community relief, and empowerment programs for underserved communities.

Our mission has always been to unite our franchisees, partners, and communities in service of a greater good. I can’t think of a better leader to take the torch than Tony Villalobos. His record of service, leadership, and compassion for our communities is unmatched, and I am excited to see the impact he will make.” 

The Honorable Mr. Tony Villalobos, incoming President of Toro Cares, shared: “It is an honor to lead Toro Cares and carry forward its vision of being an effective, nationally recognized frontline community relief foundation. I welcome the challenge of motivating our franchisees, strengthening partnerships, and expanding our programs to uplift communities throughout the U.S. and Latin America.” 

About The Honorable Mr. Tony Villalobos 

Mr. Villalobos and his wife, Mrs. Alba Villalobos, became Toro Taxes Franchisees and Area Developers in 2019. A former law enforcement officer, successful entrepreneur, and respected community leader, Villalobos earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Science from Kean University. He has served as the first Latino President and State Delegate for a major New Jersey police union, Vice-President for the Central American Coalition U.S.A., and as a Latino Advisory Board Member for Hudson County Community College and the County of Bergen, N.J. 

In 2004, he founded the United Salvadorian Leadership Organization to support Latino communities across the U.S. and Latin America. His leadership has extended to working with state and local governments on public safety and community programs, including the creation of the Union City Soccer Recreation Program, now serving over 1,200 children. 

Villalobos has received numerous awards from law enforcement agencies, civic organizations, and dignitaries for his commitment to service, problem-solving, youth guidance, and the promotion of respect, education, and unity.
